The South London Gallery is recruiting a Young People’s Web Content Manager for the Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project
This innovative co-creation project is focussed around a new contemporary art website designed for and by young people. This is being developed as part of a wider education programme of activities over two years being run in partnership with five key London venues: The South London Gallery, The Hayward Gallery, The Royal Academy, Tate Britain, and The Whitechapel Art Gallery.
The Content Manager is responsible for overseeing all online content generated through the project. Working with the LVYAP Project Manager based at the South London Gallery, you will help to establish a new contemporary art website built for and by young people. Working closely with external facilitation and design agencies you will develop an evolving online resource founded through the expression of young people. You will collaborate closely with the Young People’s Coordinator and those of the four other partner galleries to ensure effective communication of the young people’s programmes through the new website.
It is offered on an initial 12 month contract with possibility of extension for a further 12 months.
The post is part-time with an average of 2.5 days per week on a flexible basis.
The salary is £25,000 pa pro rata.
